| Well, project work has now come to an end! The dining hall is looking fantastic! We've made and fitted windows and door frames, learnt how to mix and lay cement, built a stage and have even started to lay the floor! It has been really tiring and hard work but sooooo worth it and we are all so proud of our achievements! On Monday I head off to Zanzibar for ten days of luxury beach life!!! A well deserved rest after our hard labour!!! :) We'll be snorkeling with dolphins, going on a spice tour and visiting the old stone town which is said to be fantastic! I really cannot wait and i feel its the perfect way to end my travels!!! Leaving camp life here will be sad however! The last two months have been amazing! From Living in a camp, to constructing dining hall, to digging a waterhole and coming face to face with a lion on safari! I can truely say i have had some of the most memorable and fantastic experiences of my life!! Not forgetting also the people i have met!! Especially members of CT2 and the staff of 'Camps International'! The finale to my travels is about to begin so sit back, relax and enjoy as my journey of a lifetime comes to a close... |
