This place is so random, I feel like I'm in Jamaica or something. The beaches here are so much nicer than the Pacific side, the water is so blue and warm. All you can hear around the town is reggae and see rastas chilling out. The food has been amazing (especially the caribbean sauces) and a lot cheaper than other places in Costa Rica.

We've spent the last five days chilling by the beach, thank god the weather is better here. Also have met up again with Alice and Didi who we met in Mexico a month ago. Only downside is that my bag got stolen from me on the beach and when I reported it there were other travellers who had just been robbed from too, apparently it's really common here. The most annoying thing is my glasses have gone so I'm blind for the rest of the month.

We ended up watching the World Cup final in a Dutch bar, and for some reason there were loads of Dutch but only one table of Spaniards. We were of course supporting Spain (can't believe how dirty the Dutch playing was). After 100 mins of putting up with the Dutch chants, I could not resist singing at the guys next to me "you´re not singing anymore" - they were not impressed.

On our last day we went to a Jaguar Reserve where they had monkeys, sloths, poisonous snakes, birds and wild cats. The monkeys were amazing and were jumping on people's heads and wrapping their tails around their necks. Most of the monkeys were babies and orphans and were so cute - they release them back into the wild when they're well enough. The sloths were much more docile... my kind of animal.
