Summer Trip to New York City 2010 travel blog

Travel day today. We got up and got the camper ready to go and then went to the Amish Farm next to the campground and got fresh corn (12 ears for $2.50), tomatoes, blueberries, and blueberry pie. We left the campground at 9:30am, stopped got diesel, and then ate breakfast at Jennies Diner on Hwy 30. The breakfast was the best we’ve had on the trip. So after all that we really didn’t get on the road until around 11ish. We are staying the next two nights at Stony Creek Resort in Greenville, VA on site # 103 full hookup at $18 per night. This campground is located about 20 miles back into the woods in the Shenandoah Valley and has everything, fishing , golf, basketball, volleyball, a pool, beach on the lake, game room and 2 playgrounds. Autumn says she wants a day off so tomorrow we are staying at the campground and not going anywhere. Bo likes that too as his foot is still burning and he doesn’t want to do any major walking. We traveled 275 miles today.
