Our Trip Home for the Wedding travel blog

This morning we got up bright and early, hopped in the truck and headed to the Canada/US border. We had no issues coming across because thankfully, they didn't take either of our visa's when entering Canada a few weeks ago. I was worried, but I guess I shouldn't have.

We spent a majority of the day driving and went through North Dakota and into South Dakota, where we are camping as I write this. Nothing much exciting happened today, so not much to report.

The plan tomorrow is to see Mount Rushmore, then do a bunch of other touristy stuff in the area. There are a few things that interst us like some caves, Reptile Gardens which is right across the street from where we're staying, Bear Country USA which is a drive through park with bears, wolves, cougars and other North American Wildlife, Old MacDonalds Farm and Petting Zoo. I guess we'll see what we can fit in tomorrow. The plan is to get to bed at a decent time tonight so we can be up bright and early so we get a full day in. There is just so much to see and do here.

If I'm not exhausted tomorrow, I'll try to post. Until then, have a great night.
