Dreary day in Valdez

Bear fishing
| The day started cold drizzly and dreary. We walked the docks, then went to a cook off featuring salmon. We had samples there. We found out that Tori could fish unassisted without a license. She fished the docks for a while with no luck. After eating we went to a spot on the other side of the bay. Tori fished again. While there we saw schools of pink salmon boiling the surface. There were also otters, sea lions, bald eagles, and bears there. Really quite a sight! |
