We traveled 97 miles today. Today was a very big day. We left camp about 10 o'clock. Heading South toward Valdez we soon came upon Worthington Glacier. Very scenic glacier. We stopped and walked the area taking a few pictures. Soon we were on our way stopping at Bridal Veil Falls and Horsetail falls. They are located in a steep and narrow valley. We saw the terminus of the Alaska pipeline. Then we went into Valdez, quite busy. We stopped at the visitor center. There they told us that almost all RV parks were full. They started calling around for us and found one that required a 3 night stay, and it was the last one available. We took it. We walked to the post office and then the small boat dock. There we saw quite a few fish being cleaned. Mostly halibut, but also Ling Cod. We returned to the RV and while we were eating saw 2 Bald Eagles. Quite a day. Tell you more tomorrow.
