This is one happy camper.

There's nothing like spending a day on the water on a warm but not too hot summer day. That's what we did today to celebrate my brother Brian's first day of retirement.

We rented a pontoon boat and had a great time riding around Coralville Lake. The lake is 23 miles long and we went quite a ways on it, anchored in a cove for some very relaxing moments, a little swim and some refreshments. Then it was back down the lake (or is it up the lake) to the marina. The four hours flew by and we all agreed it was a perfect afternoon, a great day to celebrate retirement and kick off the 4th of July holiday weekend.
