| Evening gentlefolks... Seeing as my hostel is ace, has a massive screen for watching the footie and is only 2 weeks old; it is clean, tidy and has everything I'd want. Apart from no computers for the internet. As such I'm limited to 6 minutes of update. Done Krakow for the main sites in town. Visited the salt mines today which were great. What them miners could create out of salt! Auschwitz tomorrow which holds some trepidation for me. How do you react to the site of mass genocide? Interest? Sorrow? I just don't know. Will have to see when I get there. Also plan to get the tram tomorrow to Nowy Huta. A 1950's communist sprawl built to house the steelworks. Am really looking forward to that...but do I splash out and hire a Trabant to take me or go communist and get the tram?!?!? Signing off. Out of time! |
