| We stayed a great night at a cabin in Big Sur. Went to breakfast at a great little place. The boys dined at a table on their own, not sure that was a good idea!! Headed to the Big Sur Falls in Julie Pfiefer State Park. Hiked a bit and boys found a large tree to climb looking out over the ocean. We then went to another park to gain beach access. The walk was a mile but fun! The beach was windy and not so much fun. We did get to see a baby rattlesnake and that made up for everything. The boys ran and splashed in the ocean even though it was freezing! Went back to the cabin and boys swam in the pool while the grown ups cleaned up. We had a great dinner at a place overlooking the ocean. The sunset would have been amazing but the fog rolled in! |
