Giant Goose At Wawa

Lake Superior Shoreline

Last night's rainstorm had blown over by the time it came to heading out, and even though the weather was great all day, Lake Superior was still covered in fog, and a lot of the scenic views were blotted out. We stopped in Wawa for coffee and to get a shot of the giant Canadian Goose. We carried on to Sault Ste. Marie and arrived at the KOA there around 2:30. After unhooking we headed into town to check it out and ended up in the Casino downtown, took less then an hour to loose the compulsory $40.00 Pretty hard to imagine that for the last two days, over 700 KM's, we had been traveling along only a portion of the northern shoreline of Lake Superior.
