We started the day with a gently walk into the township of Waterton along the side of the lake. Jenny enjoyed a quick paddle as usual. The weather was a little grey and it was a bit cold as well. However we all enjoyed our walk but were thankful for a stop at the local coffee shop for a hot drink.
After lunch and after Heather had taken some more photos of the coach we left Jenny in the coach for her to have her afternoon siesta and headed to just behind the visitor centre to walk the Bear’s Hump trail. This trail was classified as moderately strenuous as it climbs 656 feet in just under a mile. It was a good work out for the cardiovascular system. Reaching the top the views were well worth the climb with panoramic views of Waterton and Waterton Lake. There was a bear warning on the trail but none were sighted. An excellent trail and a must if you visit Waterton.
After returning to the coach we took Jenny for another walk this time to Cameron Falls just behind the campground. Think all of us will sleep well tonight!
