We leave Cirali and drive to a beach for a swim – this will be our last swim in the sea (when we say ocean Osman quickly correct us – ‘this is tha sea’.
A couple of very expense boats tied up and families everywhere. We tread carefully over the stones and slip into a very mild sea – funny how some beaches are quite cold and others warm.
When we get back on shore we find that a family are sharing a picnic with our party and also providing cups of tea – such a nice gesture.
We wander back reluctantly and set off for Antalya. We again witness thousands of acres of green houses – growing mainly tomatoes and capsicums for the russian market. Quite a sight. We also see some quite high and rugged mountains. On the outskirts of Antalya we see a crime scene. Lots of police cars and personel walking around with face masks – no damaged vehicles in sight so don’t think was a car accident.
What luck – our hotel has a swimming pool!
We walk after lunch to replace Davids reading glasses – he left his others at Olympos. Then back to the hotel for a swim and a restful afternoon – our days have been so full on.
In the evening we go to the foreshore for tea and to watch the sunset – then back to our hotel for some sweets and shisha.
We retire for the evening while the young ones head off for the night clubs.
