Home For Four Days C/W BLUE SKIES!
| Finally a morning without rain! After a stop at the local Wal-Mart and Tim Horton's of course, we headed out east on Hwy 17, now there's a question for ya!!! "Why is the Trans-Canada Hwy 1 all the way except in Ontario, where it's Hwy 17??" We had no set destination for the day and would travel until the urge to stop hit us, which it did about 125 K out of Thunder Bay, so the decision was made to carry on to the KOA there. Having crossed into another time zone after leaving Kenora this was one of our latest stops so far. The KOA was very nice so we booked in four 4 nights. The trip over from Kenora was through the Canadian Shield and was for the most part some pretty Grey scenery, lots of lakes, and I MEAN LOTS!, and trees. Only a few sprinkles to report as far as rain for the whole day and once we hit Thunder Bay we had blue skies overhead! |
