It was a quick two hour ride up here to Richfield, but it took us a little longer because we had to stop and unhook the car and let Betty drive the last 30 minutes or so, due to a steep grade.
This KOA is actually a little nicer than the last one - plenty of shade trees and grass for the dogs! There is some kind of softball tournament going on, as well as a family reunion, so the park is pretty full - especially a lot of kids and dogs!
We mentioned before that this is a popular ATV'ing area and this location is particularly attractive for that, since there is a 260 mile ATV trail that is accessible from just outside the KOA. You can even rent ATV's here. We almost wish we had scheduled an extra day and tried it out!!
In the evening we went exploring the small town looking for supper, and came across something you don't seem much of these days - a "sit down" Pizza Hut! YUM!!
