| We are spending another day here in Altoona to do laundry, get the oil changed in the truck and do some camper cleaning. The kids have made friends with some of the children in the park and are busy playing. There is bamboo growing here in the park and one of the campers gave Autumn, Clay and their friends some of it. Bo has put the big pieces in the back of the truck for them to take home. Clay is using his small piece to play with his Mighty Beanz. It took 2 ½ hours at Wal-Mart’s to get the oil changed and new filter in the truck. They checked the batteries and said one needed replaced, but was too busy to replace it today. They said we could get it replaced at any Wal-Mart at no cost since it was only a year old. It is in the 70’s all day today, cloudy with scattered rain. We only saw the sun today around 5pm. We had a camp fire tonight. |
