Having Fun

We made the short trip from Bryce Canyon's area to Jacob Lake, Arizona which is approx. 45 miles north of the Grand Canyon's North Rim. The campground here is very nice situated in the Kaibab National Park. There are very tall Ponderosa Pines and Aspen trees throughout the area and we have seen numerous mule deer. We went to the North Rim yesterday and to say that the view was breath taking would be an understatement. The North Rim is by far the nicest with no waves of tourists buses and just absolutely beautiful scenery. The Grand Canyon is certainly named appropriately. I imagine that Carole will follow up with a post and pictures she took. We keep having a great time and everyday it is something new. Today we leave here and travel about 250 miles south to Williams, Arizona to stay for two nights and enjoy some of the history of Route 66. Then it is off to Vegas for 2 days. We hope everyone is doing well!
