| Back to the chateau, this time to visit the history museum contained inside; 7 themes, 32 rooms, 112 audio presentations later and hubby is a very happy man and Abby and I have had enough!! Was actually fascinating to read of Nantes' slave trade history in West Africa, involvement in the war and projections for the future. Off for ice creams, crowd watching, browsing in shops and trying out new patisseries.Still amazed at how everytime you turn a new direction, there is a charming street scene with cobbled paving,cafes and umbrellas, unusual shops (like the hat one) ......and US here! Mind boggling :) |
