| Whew! Hubby managed very well on the driving front (so did Abby and I as passengers!). The roads around our house are so narrow that they are the really tricky ones, and when you get out on to the more open roads, it feels a bit safer. Traffic circles are extremely hairy! We ventured to our nearest supermarche and a shopping centre... and then home to recover! Has been a nice quiet day , popping out with Abby this morning for our au pain for breakfast, visiting the local market for fresh veggies and hot crepes, followed by a bit of driving. Abby's got into some homework, hubby into some gardening and I played the piano. Thought we may drive the trams tonight - see where we land up on different lines and return to Commerce Central for hot chocolates at the end. Only gets dark here at 10 pm, and with no TV connection we have loads of time :) Grand lifestyle. |
