Today dawned bright and sunny so we allowed ourselves the luxury of doing the lawns and gardens both at Kirksanton and at the Bull Pen. The Bull Pen was to be the venue for a "welcome to the Neighbourhood Dot" party on the following Monday and so it was needing a general tidy up. Jan was a dab hand with the sculpting of the box hedge, I shall have to get her back again when it needs doing again! And Barry managed all the lawns. Me - well I just carted all the clippings away. It was a dirty job but someone had to do it!!

Both places were looking neat and tidy by the end of it all.

We took a trip into Barrow and booked in for our hair appointments for tomorrow, for Jan and myself. Not only the garden to have a tidy up!!

In Barrow I bought a TV/DVD combo machine, we got back to Kirksanton but the book was too complicated to follow regarding tuning the TV channels so we hauled the TV over to the local pub, the King Billy IV, and two of the locals very kindly tuned it in for me.
