Hue is like a smaller and more relaxed version of Hanoi. There's lots of places of historical significance in and around the city so I decided to do the cultural thing and go on a tour to see these places. I went inside the ancient walls of the citadel, visited temples and saw the tombs of past emperors. Whilst here I also treated myself to a Vietnamese massage which was really good. A few of us decided that we would 'easy ride' from Hue to our next destination. This is where you go with a guide on the back of a motorbike and make loads of stops along the way. It is a great way to really get to see the country. We stopped at a Vietnamese style water park, in a stream in the mountains, and it was really busy because it was a Sunday so it was great to see. We also stopped regularly along the coastal route and some of the views were out of this world.
