Dragonflies Are Everywhere!

Surprise! Here we are at Breezy Point, MN. No, we did not buy a cabin here.

Yesterday we discussed our check engine light on/off problem with Craig. He ran a computer test. A sensor is going bad. He suggested some “symptoms” that suddenly made sense. We call our nephew, Jason, and he checks with his friend who specializes in transmissions. Right now, it is just a sensor. If we do not fix it, we could have transmission problems. So . . . We have an appointment at 1:30.

It is a beautiful morning with not a cloud in the sky. After breakfast, we head out onto the lake in our pontoon boat. It is a little breezy but I take pictures and watch a bald eagle fly above the trees. In another day or two, the water lilies will be in bloom! Eventually, John finds the large mouth bass and northern pike.

We are back to the dock in time for lunch and our trip to the automotive shop. I hope we have solved our check engine light problem. We are ready to go - again!

Before we leave the area, John drives me around Cross Lake for pictures. After all, we are on the Paul Bunyan Trail. How can I leave the area without pictures? I find the world’s largest Paul Bunyan rag doll and Paul Bunyan’s Hammer. The pollen here is so large I have decided it is Paul Bunyan pollen!
