| Gene, Cyndy and Aunt Cheryl headed to Rainbow National Monument on the chase boat to do some pre-trip scouting for the True GRIT. It was a beautiful trip up, lots of awesome scenery with beautiful canyons on Lake Powell. Navajo Mountain top was covered with snow and made a spectacular backdrop for Rainbow Bridge. It is the 100 year anniversary of Rainbow National Monument! WE had a fun trip back with lots of choppy water which Aunt Cheryl enjoyed more than Cyndy...........she is quite the trooper. This is a beautiful place on Lake Powell and part of an amazing heritage, we would highly recommend visiting it. |
