By 11:00 o’clock this morning I was on my way back to Austin. On the way, I stopped at a barn on US 281 a couple of miles north of Marble Falls. Nearly every year the meadow in front of it has an abundant crop of wild flowers. I didn’t go there while the bluebonnets were in bloom last month; but the show of orange and yellow flowers today was definitely not shabby! It was too windy to take close-ups.
When I got back home to Pecan Grove RV Park, I discovered to my chagrin that Bob had not removed the dead squirrel from my neighbor’s site. Yuck! I went to the office to ask once again that it be removed and the man who was filling in for the manager today took care of it immediately. What a relief!
