Well, I should have made this entry yesterday but didn't get a chance.
We spent the day in Branson.
We shopped in the little downtown area. Went to an old fashioned 5 and 10cent store only there was nothing there for 10 cents. Overpriced all the way but still fun.
We then took the Branson Scenic Train ride. It was an hour and a half trip to no where but it was fun. Not as scenic as we had hoped.
In the evening we went to see the Shepard of the Hills which is an outdoor play based on a novel written about the area 100 years ago. It was kind of fun. Because it is outdoors, they had lots of horses and sheep running through the stage area and they set a house on fire which was kind of exciting. Other than that, the acting was pretty bad and the story seemed kind of lame to me. But it was very patriotic and sweet.
We had a nice time but probably don't have a need to revisit Branson.
