C.A.M.P. Saints - No Walls Ministry travel blog

We have found a church and have been soaking in the Son. I was approached last week by a Children's Ministry worker who introduced herself, said she works in CM and would love to have someone new in there. I had to smile huge and said, I am a Children's Pastor and am on Sabbatical for the summer, otherwise I would love to. My dh said the other day, he would have stopped me if I stepped into it. It is time to soak in the Son and rest in the Lord.

I have really struggled with not being around "my kids", it is very similar to having an empty nest and I have been through that once!

But with the spiritual strength of an incredible husband and a beautiful christian woman boss, their understanding and love has been helping. It's been just 3 weeks and I am learning how to rest in Him.

So, yesterday after really able to understand what these feelings are, I am more determined to study up on leadership, grow my weaknesses into strengths, and working to get my vision for CM more understandable.

I know God has a plan for me, a plan for a new position somewhere in the Panhandle of Florida in the fall. I just have to remember to trust Him and not walk ahead of HIM! That's the hardest part, I am a planner and love to have everything planned out and then be willing to change it if needed. This requires me to change and trust HIM above all.

Our summer jobs are going very well. A lot to learn though! We are working at a campground to learn hospitality and to grow in other ways we haven't done yet. We are meeting so many incredible people. People that have dreamt of seeing America and are, people who are moving from one place to the next, the power of storms too!

We have had a tornado that ripped through this last week and flattened a gas station and several houses as well. The power of prayer and the power of storms is ..

We served a pancake breakfast last Saturday, only a handful of people but the pannycakes turned out yummy!

We are really learning to enjoy the laid back peace and quiet of the camp. Until next time...Blessings.
