| Hi Friends, We are getting down to the wire preparing for our big trip. We are hoping to leave this Saturday, May 15th, bright and early. That's the plan anyhow. As we prepare the trailer for take off and complete our last minute errands, I am noticing that my tomatoes should be ripe some time the week after we leave and the green beans will be producing at top capacity by then as well. Looks like we will have a bumper crop for our neighbors and children to enjoy. Hope they don't go to waste. I see lots of chores that need to be done. The flower beds need weeding, closets need thinning out, Richard's "Honey Do" list is not completed. It seems strange to be leaving for a month with so many chores that need doing here. I have never taken this much time off for a vacation in my adult life. It seems odd. I hope I can adapt. Who am I kidding! I can't wait! All of that stuff will be here when I get back. The road is calling and I am anxious to be out of here! Hope to hear from you while we are on the road. Next update, Saturday or Sunday. Kathy |
