| Mmmmm more cinnamon toast for breakfast with lots of margarine and of course coffee. I squashed the last of my winter clothes into the box, addressed it and we were off into town. We headed to the post office whilst Aileen went to the grocery store to fix up all the pays. We sent off our boxes, but I wasn't allowed to pick up my parcel as it was addressed to Aileen. We waited for her at the grocery store and picked up a few things she needed. She bought me Reese cups, which we shared. They are chocolate cups filled with peanut butter, YUM!!! We collected my parcel and bought a hamburger and fries for lunch. I scoffed down my lunch and was excited to rip open my parcel. Of course all the necessities were there trackies, orthotics, razor blades etc. And a few goodies to share like chocolates, twisties and muesli bars. Mum is even so kind she sent some gifts for Aileen and Randy for being so hospitable. I couldn't help myself and shared out a block of chocolate, which is now all gone :-(. Lucky Mum sent me two and one for Bek. I've emptied my suitcase of clothes and filled it with snacks. We had another wonderful dinner thanks to my Canadian Mum, Aileen. I have definatley enjoyed all the meat. After Randy and Aileen went to check the cows one more time, whilst Bek and I filled in our visa waiver form. We can now legally go to America. While we were waiting for Randy and Aileen to return I cleared the kitchen and got the dessert/snacks ready. Randy and I did the twisties vs cheesies test and agreed they should just be eaten together. Whilst pigging out on all our goodies we watched The Blind Side with Sandra Bullock. Great movie, best role I have seen her in. If you haven't seen it, hire it it's worth it. We had a just in case goodbye with Randy. We are hoping to pick him up from work and have dinner with the both of them in Edmonton tomorrow night before we get the bus. But just in case he has to work we said our sad goodbyes. It will be very sad to say goodbye to my Canadian parents tomorrow night. |
