Dinner at the Blues City Cafe. Yummy!!

After a 6 hour drive, with a stop in Arkadelphia, AR for a late breakfast, we arrived at the Tom Sawyer RV Park in West Memphis, AR, which is across the Mississippi River from Memphis.

We've stayed at this RV park before and the view out our window is all the barges going up and down the Mississipi. The intersting part about this park is that sometimes it is under water when the river rises too high. Luckily, things are dry right now except for a thunderstorm or two.

After setting up, we packed up Duke and headed to Beale Street in Memphis. Beale Street is well known as the birthplace of the Blues and all it's wonderful restaurants. Since our favorite restaurant, the Rendezvous, is closed on Sunday, we checked out the Blue City Cafe, which was fabulous! Afterwards, we walked down Beale Street and just as it started to rain again, we were at our car.

On our trip here in 2008, we did a lot of sightseeing, so this time, this is just a one night stop over, as we're on our way to St. Louis for a few days of sightseeing.
