| Good bye is so final it seems. Saying goodbye to loved ones, to friends, to little ones, to a home for the past five years, to everything we have known for the past 6 years, to safety in paychecks and in our secure positions. Having family around is pretty incredible, but the time has come where they see the dream God has placed on our hearts and let go. Saying goodbye to our church friends, our little guys has been hard too. Some see our dream, some are still trying to grasp it, some we have really loved over the past few years and watched grow. Some have totally blown my mind as to their growth in their faith walk. There's a song that comes to mind, at least a few words... "I am Amazed", He dances over us when we are unaware... God blows my mind more than ever. He brought in a raggamuffin child to lead children to Him. Through that process, God has brought others as well into His kingdom to love, know and serve Him in greater ways than they ever thought. I can't express to anyone other than my husband how I am so overwhelmed how valued my life has been here. I do not ever take it lightly. I am truly amazed, incredibly amazed that He loves me so much that He works through me to teach others, to love others, to love the best of people and see the best in others. That He loves us with an everlasting love! So, to our friends, to our family, we love you all. We will make you proud of our pancakes, burgers, brisket, and our hospitality like Abraham had in Genesis 18! Until next time... |
