For those of you who don't appreciate how big Texas is, it takes us a day just to get out of the state.

We headed out from home around 11am and by the early evening we made it to Texarkana, TX which is right on the border of Arkansas.

We had fun dinner at the Redwater Diner where the food was great and the prices VERY low. Then we drove into town and saw the most photographed court house, aside from the Supreme Court House in Washington, D.C. What makes it so interesting, you ask? (or maybe you didn't ask, but I'm going to tell you anyway.)

The building houses a post office which is half in Texarkana, TX and half in Texarkana, AR. The post office has two zip codes!

No offense to any of you who love Texarkana but this was the highlight of the city, as we saw it. Luckily, it was just a one night stop over.

On to Memphis, TN tomorrow.
