Beautiful butterfly

Everyone parked at the Persinger RV park:)

For our friends - Bob and Laverl:)

Thursday morning we packed up, dumped our holding tanks, and headed east about 100 miles. Our good friends, Tom and Dianna, live just outside the little town of Rattan, OK. That was our destination for the next few days. Other friends, Gary and JoElla, Glenn and Diane were meeting there also. Tom and Dianna have a big metal building that is a combination garage/house where they park their motor home when they are not on the road. They still live in their motor home full time, but have an extended bath and laundry room, a family room area with a storm shelter, a beautiful deck overlooking a pond, and extra hook-ups for friends. They had the same idea we originally had for a building, but theirs is complete and ours is still on the drawing board. We can't decide WHERE to put ours:)

We have been having fun just getting reacquainted, playing games, eating (of course), and enjoying their wonderful home.

Yesterday we drove to Hugo, OK to visit the Circus cemetery. I'll post that info and photos on a separate entry.

We all drove over to Payne's Good Times Fish Tales for dinner. It is about 4 miles north of Hugo on highway 93. Very nice place with excellent food. It's an all you can eat buffet. Your price (paid when you arrive) includes all you can eat of the salad bar, dinner, desert and drink. The menu includes Farm raised catfish, boiled and fried shrimp, hush puppies, french fries, baked potato, green salad bar, cole slaw, corn fritters, corn on the cobb, pinto beans, peach cobbler, and chocolate cobbler. There are also chicken strips for the non-fish lovers. There is a Senior price and a couple of children's prices. The sign says "No tip, No waitress, No taxes" and it was true. We left no tip in spite of the excellent service and food. Paper goods were used and we bussed our own table when we were finished:) Great idea! They are only open 4-9pm Friday and Saturday. This will go near the top of our favorite restaurants list:) If you like a good fish fry at an excellent price, we suggest you stop in at Payne's Fish Tales.

The guys have been fishing the past two days, but it is raining and chilly here this morning, so they are still hanging around. It's a lazy day, getting caught up on "inside" stuff and getting ready to move on tomorrow. We will be moving east a short distance to Beavers Bend State Park tomorrow.
