Pete & Jan's Travels 2010 travel blog

Small view of Lake Shasta (on I-5)

Thats a houseboat on the lake....looks tiny from the bridge.

As you can see, its a cloudy day. Where's the sunshine ?

Downhill.....brakes don't fail us now.

Well, thats one way to move a tree.

Nice view.

Well now, isn't it enough to watch for deer ? Lets just...

The peaks are awesome.

On Interstate-5, Black Butte in the background.

Oh man ! There's snow up there !

Another photo of Black Butte & a nice view of the road...

More of that white stuff.

Coming into the town of Weed......wonder how it got its name ?????

Out of the trees.

Back in the trees...LOL

Nice farmland

Mural on the side of a store.

Out of California & into Oregon. On Hwy 97 N.

If the road is in the way, just build over it.

Flock of geese.

More geese, not a real clear photo.

On the outskirts of Klamath Falls

upper Klamath Lake, not a great photo, couldn't get a clear shot...

This was a real pretty view.

Back into the forrest (one of our favorite enviroments).

Look ... snow next to the road. Brrrrrrrrr

Town of Chemult & getting close to Crescent.

Blues skies with light clouds.....come on sun.

We arrive at our home for two weeks.

Our favorite park, we even got our favorite spot. Cool !

I think Pete needs some work to do, guess I'll have to...

Yup, we're home.

We left Redding, Ca. this morning at 9:00 am & drove 5 hours up to Crescent, Oregon for a two week stay at Big Pines RV Park. We love this park & always seem to stop here every time we enter Oregon. We plan on looking for Geocache & doing some more sightseeing while we're here. Our drive here was uneventful (which is a good thing), the sky was cloudy & occassionally we'd see some sunshine. All in all, it was a good trip.
