We left Ensenada and are heading for a campsite just south of SanQuintin.
The campsite is right on the beach, we camped here on our last trip both up and down Baja.
We pulled into the campsite in the early afternoon after quite an uneventful drive from Ensenada.
Upon entering the campsite we pulled right onto the beach and as Jack did so his motorhome steered left and his tow car steered right. The tires on both vehicles immediately dug into the sand. With the car unhooked the motorhome just sat spinning and digging into the sand.
My last winters moto of “youre not stuck if you can get yourself out” came into play and I dug the rear tires out and Jack managed to power out of the hole.
The guys from Alison Pass would have been proud…see I did learn something last winter digging out my snowplow……
With camp set up it was time to let the dogs run off some steam in the ocean. Rosey,Rupert&Coronita ran and played in the surf while Radar just strolled with the gang watching the crazy bunch.
Bath time was in order for all the dogs after which they just collapsed in their respective homes and slept.
It gets windy and cool on the Pacific coast so after watching the Survivor episode we were all headed for bed.
ANOTHER early start is planned for the morning. Im sure not winning this battle this trip.
