Pulling the Carriage 2007 travel blog

Tonight we are in Erie, Pennsylvania. We traveled north from Summersville, West Virginia on Hwy 19. We then followed I -79 north through Pittsburgh to Grove City. As I’ve mentioned in the past, Grove City is home to Glenna’s favourite mall. This afternoon we stopped in for a few hours so Glenna could visit some of her favourite stores, while I updated my blog using the mall wifi. Luckily she came back bagless!!

We always try to stay at campgrounds with wifi. Our campground directory lists all the campgrounds and all the amenities they have. It seems too many campgrounds exaggerate their internet systems. All too often what is advertised as wifi at site is actually wifi in the office or laundry room. The last two nights we have stayed in campgrounds that didn’t have wifi at our site. Hill Family campground here in Erie is the furthest north campground we could find open with full service. We needed to stay here to completely empty and rinse all our storage tanks before we put our baby away until the next trip.

Tomorrow we hope to venture back into Canada at Fort Erie and return to the Oaks. It’s time to get back to work.
