We left Cedar Key on Sat. April 3rd at noon and it sure was a sad day saying goodbye to all the great people we met. We stopped in Albany GA at the Walmart for the night. Cruised on the next day through Atlanta and then up the Smokey Mountains to the town of Cherokee where the Harrah's Casino is and parked next to the Pigeon River and stayed there for two nights. Tuesday we had to take a detour because of a rock slide on I-40 so that took awhile to get back to I-75. Stopped south of Lexington KY for the night. Wednesday we are on the last day to get to MI for a 9:00 AM appointment for a new roof vent in the motorhome in Imlay City, north of Detroit. So after many traffic delays and detours and driving through the rain and cold we got there at 9:00 PM and stayed in their parking lot with Brother Bob behind us. Got the vent put in by noon and moved northwest to Mount Pleasant to the Soaring Eagle. Spent the night in their parking lot and on Friday April 9th when we got up it was snowing and sticking to the ground. YUCK!!So we headed for our new home RV site in Saugatuck. Pulled in and got set up by 5:00 PM. I can't believe the winter get away is over and I'm looking forward to next winter. Thanks for cruising along with us. Love, Denny and Linda
