"What an Angel" in front of Hotel El Angel

Woke up to a guy singing in the shower in the next room. He was actually quite good...I felt like I was at the opera. We each decided to sing our own songs in the shower (no, we weren't in the shower together). Bill sang his latest song from a guy on American Idol, "Pants on the ground"(see youtube site below), I sang "I Feel Good"...not sure what Danny sang.

Crossed the border, got our visas and paperwork for the car...then off towards Monterrey. What a huge city, you couldn't even tell you were in Mexico. Stopped for lunch at one of many roadside family grills serving chicken with rice, beans and tortillas...Delicious!! Nice family making their living out of a half barrel BBQ pit alongside the road.

Spent the night in Lunares at "Hotel El Angel". Very clean, neat, prosperous town. The hotel had marble floors, huge beds, a balcony that looked out onto the town square (zocalo). Families take walks in the evening, a band was playing, clowns were performing...Sunday, everywhere in Mexico, includes music, dancing, families and celebration. Music went on until late into the night.
