Happy potluck eaters, the food was good

It's difficult to improve on a good thing. NAS Corpus Christi is a nice little place, having most everything we like to experience.

We moved from Harlingen to Corpus Christi on the 22nd, a nice day and a short drive, couldn't have been better. Our friends, John & MJ Van Emmerik, from Carson City Nevada arrived the next day, we'd planned this for months. They found a break in the storms over the Sierra's and busted a move to Calif to begin their trip. We went to the pot luck dinner hosted by the FAMCAMP and ate ourselves silly! John and Dave have been fishing pretty much any and all chances they get. The only exception was a day of golf for Rebecca and Dave. They hope to catch spotted trout and red drum.

A suprise for us was finding out that our new friends, Ed and Helene Prince, from our previous visit to NAS CC would be arriving on the same day! Though they're purpose for coming here is different, they celebrate their wedding anniversary by coming here. They live in the Dallas, TX area and like to come here when they can. Helene is a fine photographer and provides two unique photos of dolphins. She took the photos while on a stroll and stopping at the fishing pier at the FAMCAMP during high tide. WOW!

We feel spoiled to have four friends at the same time with us.
