Dessert to go Darn it wasn't mine

I had planned on entering two days together so I waited a day to write our journey… It turns out that both days had so much going on that I figured I had better do each one separate… This one is for Sunday 3-28…..

WE started out with a quest of finding the best wild flowers in Texas.. We had read and been told that some of the best were found at the Rockport Cemetery… Who would have thought? Well it turns out that they do not mow the cemetery until after wildflower season and sure enough, we found some beautiful ones growing all over the area; both inside and outside the cemetery… I set about taking pictures and then we did some grocery shopping and a few things before we came back home to get ready to go to a park just down the road from us a bit where our friends Bob and Molly were spearing up a Shrimp/chicken/crab boil…. Wow.. What a feast.. Bob did the boil while other neighbors brought deserts and things to go along with the dinner… I’m sure that by the time you look at the pictures you will be drooling too.. The boil consisted of little red potatoes, carrots, onions, corn on the cob, chicken, fresh gulf shrimp and topped off with my favorite stone crabs.. I’m sure that I forgot some things but Bob had it all under control… I have no idea what spices he put in but it sure was awesome…. Take a look at the pictures of dessert and tell me which one you would have chose.. Well if you are like me, you couldn’t so you tried them all… Yes… They were worth every sinful bite.. We can’t tell you how much we enjoyed this meal and the company that we shared it with… Thank you so much Molly and Bob. You guys rock.

We left to come home and get some laundry done but the others had another night of game playing and I am sure they probably brought out more food before the night was over..

Hope you like the pics… I had a ball taking them..
