| Good bye, Boise. Today we headed out and are on our way to Hill AFB in Ogden, UT. Like so much of our travels, the scenery is beautiful. We crossed over the Oregon trail for the last time today, just north of the Idaho/Utah state line. It has been very interesting learning more about the Oregon trail, now that there was a possibility that Debi had ancestors that may have traveled on it. We arrived at Hill AFB around 5:30 this evening, made a quick stop at the commissary on base, so that we could have our annual St Patty’s day Corned Beef sandwich dinner. Afterwards we took a walk around base. The mountain views and the view of the Great Salt Lake are very beautiful. |
