Our monthly meeting was held this morning along with a continental breakfast and then 8 of us are headed out to the Fountain. The fountain is located in Fountain Hills and sends a geyser 560 feet into the air every hour. We find the park and walk out to the lake’s edge. We only have to wait a few minutes and the fountain comes on. It gradually increases in height until it is at its peak. It stays this way for 15 minutes before gradually lowering and then finally stopping.
It is spectacular and the lake setting is also beautiful. We then drive around the lake and then head off to find the garage sales we passed on the way here. We find 4 and Mason’s and us all buy something. The other car did not buy as much.
We stopped at a Subway for lunch, then a Safeway for food for the potluck on Sunday. Most of us came back and took short naps before starting a few rousing games of 31.
RG finally comes out from under the chair, one of his secure spots, and promptly falls asleep on the couch.
Tomorrow we are headed off to the Farmer’s Market and old town Scottsdale.
