we are chillin in the jungle these days. all is good

its so beautiful its difficult to leave. we have a healing river that has somehow evaded the poisonous touch of man and runs through our front yard pure and true! without the magical river we would not be there but its the best thing ever, if you are suffering from any ill, may it be sweatiness, dirtyness, stinkyness, tiredness, boredom, stress, lazyness, grumpyness, or itchy and bitten upness, you will find a cure for it in the river. if you are looking for new sights and adventure, just swim up the river, you will see snakes, (i saw three different kinds when i did this with sage!), cool orange algae like material, cahune nuts (tasty but very hard to get into to, and sometimes have grubs), breathtaking scenery and silky lagoons. its deff heavenly and i could probably stay there forever, but we do need to make regular trips to dangriga to stock up on cheese, powdered milk and gatorade. the walk up the driveway is a scenic 40 minute hike through the CPBL (citrus products of belize limited) orange groves. one can see many different birds on this walk including great blue herons, the white egrets with the long crooked necks, yellow birds of a varied variety, and hawks and yellowtailed brown birds.

not yet a tucan but im still hopefull.

often times a tractor full of orange pickers will pass you by or a few lone workers.

once me and sage got a ride from a spanish family in the back of their truck, i suppose they were our neighbors
