After a few days of chilling out we headed into the Santa Rosa Mountains and visit the small town of Idyllwild.
The views were spectacular although there was quite a lot of snow at the higher elevations.
On returning to Palms Springs we called in at a local Date Farm and picked up a good supply of the wonderful California Medjools Dates. They are really sweet and luscious- yummy!
