Boondocking or as they say in Europe Wild Camping

Hot-dogs cooking over the campfire

Organ Pipe National Monument
We spent a couple nights near Organ Pipe National Monument, a national park featuring the Organ Pipe cactus. We took the scenic drive around the Ajo Mountains and hiked the Estes Canyon/Bull Pasture trail in the park. We boondocked at a BLM (Bureau of Land Mgmt) site, where we were allowed to have a campfire (not too often in dry Arizona). Diner was hotdogs cooked over an open fire. The hiking and the Organ Pipe cactus were great but the best is the night sky in the desert. There are so many stars it makes you feel like you are in a planetarium. There are so many starts that it makes you feel insignificant.
