This morning we went and walked around Bartolome Island. There were over 360 steps to get to the top of the view point, but the view was worth it. At the end of the island is Pinnacle Rock, that is gradually being eroded by the sea. It is like walking on the moon on this island. We were greeted by two seal lions who were on the steps as we arrived. After we had a panga ride around the waters to look for penguins and seals. Unfortunately we did not see any penguins. In fact so far I have not seen any penguins! Once we had finished our ride we went snorkeling on the beach. I am finally getting the hang of this snorkeling lark and even took my camera. I had it set on the wrong setting though so the pictures are rubbish. I know better for later on. After we had lunch on board we then went on a glass bottom boat ride and I saw some amazing fish and sea life. I spotted one fish that is not in the book and the naturalist did not know what it was. We spotted rarely seen leopard fish and green star fish. Back on board we had a lecture on volcanoes and geology and then had a competition before supper and the boys beat us. We all grouped together and had a good supper. At the end the captain came over and advised us that the sea was going to be rough tonight so we had all better take a pill. I couldn't decide at first as I thought that as I had slept through everything else that had made people ill, I should be OK. In the end I thought that I would take the pill, as I didn't want to spoil our last day feeling icky the next day. Book and fairly early night it was.
