Once again, we slept with the windows open last night. I awoke in time to see the guys heading out for their morning walk, and we were up not long after that.
We sat with our morning coffee, reading e-mail, face book and the blogs of our friends.
I wanted to do some work on the desktop computer but was unable to get the keyboard working. It is a wireless keyboard so I replaced the batteries, thinking that would solve the problem. NOT!
Next, I tried to re-sync the keyboard but that did not help either.
Well, I needed some blank DVD’s from Walmart, as well as some of the paper holders for CD’s or DVD’s. In a few moments, we were ready to go. The weather outside was cloudy with a solid overcast, and it began to drizzle rain, so we closed all the windows before we left. We wore light jackets because the temperature was only 56 degrees and the stiff wind made it feel colder than that.
I picked up an inexpensive keyboard at Walmart, and by the time we were back at the resort, the temperature had fallen into the upper 40’s. The new keyboard fixed the computer problem, though, so it was not a wasted trip.
It was a good day to stay inside and watch movies on TV.
We have several new movies to watch, but I wanted to get things wrapped up with the computer first.
Later in the afternoon, we noticed that the internet was down. In fact, as I write the blog, we have no internet service and I may not be able to post this journal entry tonight.
We spoke to Jennifer several times today. Cell phones are wonderful!
This was certainly a great day to just relax, stay indoors, and have a very easy afternoon.
I guess if you don’t see this journal entry until tomorrow, or even later, you’ll know that the Wi-Fi system is still down at Llano Grande.
A short entry on a “Do-Nothing” day, but…..Life is Good!
