| Another great day down what we think is one of the great drives in the mid west, Lttle Rock AK to Texarkana, TX. through the canyons of big pines and over the rolling terrain. Stopped at the Texas Welcome Centre and were advised to take an alternate route to Caddo Lake State Park and then on to Choke Canyon State Park the following day. These folks in this Welcome Centre are great! Arrived Caddo Lake about 2:00 p.m. and opened the trailer without a problem other than mouse shit but no permanent damage so far. (see picture re Irish Spring soap & Bounce being a mouse deterant). All plumbing, heat & refrigeration worked A OK. Drove innto Marshal TX for groceries and a truck wash and returned for a pre super walk and our first night in the trailer - perfect! |
