Woke up this morning and we felt good,so I guess our swim yesterday didn't play havoc on our health. We will continue on to Carlsbad and hope the weather doesn't get to bad. We really can't complain to much since up north is really getting busted. The people in the areas we've been in say this weather is harse for them. will fill you in at Carlsbad. Arrived in Carlsbad only to find the two campgrounds we were going to stay at a big mess. Took off 12 miles north to Brantley State Park. This is the place for us. Beautiful park with lots of kayaking on a crystal clear lake and nice and quiet. An it's only 12 miles from a mess. Upon the purchase of a yearly pass we can stay for 4 dollars a night with electric and 8 dollars with sewer. Primitive sites down on the lake are free. A great deal as long as you stay in New Mexico over 21 days,which I think we'll do that easily.
