Yesterday we drove from Los Mochis to Mazatlan in about 6 hours. That was of course followed by a Margarita party. We’re parked in the sand next to the beach. Well a half block away. We have 30 amps, water and sewer so all is well in the world. This morning we took a bus tour of the city and watched a cliff diver dive off a 40’ platform into a bay. Sort of an imitation of the cliff divers in Acapulco but a little cheese. Next we visited the second oldest Catholic Church in Mexico. Very elegant and elaborate. After we had time to shop and visit the local market and have lunch. Then back to the RV park. All has been going very smooth and everyone is having a great time. One of our guests is having another Margarita party tonight. I guess I’ll just have to attend.

Most of us are getting our rigs washed while in the park. An RV wash is about $25 and with a hand wax maybe $60. I have some dents in the hood of my car along with one in the front fender and a ding in the tailgate plus a scratch in the rear fender. They are going to take it to a shop and fix it all for $200. That includes factory matching paint and clear coat. Tomorrow we go on another bus tour and finish in the evening with a fiesta party at one of the big hotels. O well, someone has to do this job. Might as well be us. More later.
