| Oxclose is in Northern England. This town has been a challenging but rewarding town. In the beginning the kids were excited to be with us but were very reserved and judgmental of their friends. They laughed when others sang or danced and had absolutely no confidence or willingness to try. They gradually got better, they uncrossed their arms, then clapped for each other and by the show on the final day they were completely open and willing to work with us with open minds completely free of judgment. During dance class they opened up and told us that they were afraid of judgment from friends, and failure when they take a chance. |
