| We had arrived at Mesa Regal RV Park just before Thanksgiving and enjoyed many social activities, the beautiful pool, library, billiards and our nice neighbors. It was time to leave. And so we said good-bye to our new friends, unhooked all the necessary cords for electricity, water and sewer and headed to Usery Mountain Park, just 10 miles away but the scenery changed drastically. We are only a few minutes from shopping, but it feels like we are out in the desert. Because we are! After setting up our motor home on our new site, we had lunch at the picnic table and then went on one of the easier hikes in the park. |
